Upgrades 7. Build Plaque

To finish off the build, I decided to follow in a lot of fellow builders footsteps and get a plaque made that fits inside the engine bay. The factory fit these to all their cars that they build with the name of the builder, so I like the idea of continuing this trend for home builds.

I got the plaque for a good price from plaquestore.co.uk which is based in Derby. They already have the template from previous plaques made for Caterhams and also deliver in good time, they will send you a mock up before any commitment is made and also ask you to double check sizes. I ended up going for 83mm x 53mm which I think fits perfectly.

Securing it was simply done with two lines of 3M double sided tape, I left it on the plaque for a good 24 hours before then placing it in the engine bay in the proper slot.
